students with credit for CH 310, 318, or an equivalent organic chemistry
course. May
not be counted toward any chemistry degree. Recommended for human
ecology and nursing students. Introduction to chemical principles and
organic chemistry, with emphasis on compounds of biological importance.

The UT
If you need
additional tutoring and/or counseling, the UT Learning Center (Jester A332A,
471-3614) is available to all students. Their trained learning specialists are
available to talk privately with students about any academic concerns. During long semesters, students can speak
with a learning specialist Monday through Friday, between 9 a.m. and 5
p.m. During summer sessions and between
sessions, the hours are 9 to noon and 1-4 p.m.
No appointment is necessary.
Common topics include study effectiveness, test preparation, reading
efficiency, note-taking, learning differences, time management, motivation, and
academic anxiety.
