From Dr. Holcombe: I' ve attached
a WORD document that contains one page with two of the final recap sheets
(see below in course handouts). Since much of this problem requires neutralized
strongest acid with strongest base until no more neutralizations take
place, these sheets may be useful in keeping track of the changes in concentrations
after each neutralization, i.e., assist you in "bookkeeping".
I'd make 2-3 copies (i.e., 6 tables) and after each neutralization, update
the next chart until you get to where no reax is likely amongst the strongest acid and base that you have left. Then the thinking begins. |
